Magnetic Hoops for Cross Stitch

The magnetic hoop is a Hobianna design in which two laser-cut wooden frames grip the Aida with embedded magnets; with no screw or ring the crosses are never crushed and the finished piece hangs in its frame. Which Fabric?

14–16 ct Aida and linen grip best; the 9×9 hoop takes a motif of about 40×40 stitches on 14 ct, the 14×14 hoop 65×65. It is the easiest hoop for children's and starter kits.
