Macramé Cords

Macramé knots cord into wall hangings, plant hangers, bags and accessories; the cord must hold a knot, so it is twisted or braided cotton. Twisted or Braided?

Twisted Macrame Cotton for wall hangings and fringed pieces; braided cord for bags, plant hangers and keyrings that need durability. Use 3 mm for small ornaments and keyrings, 4–5 mm for wall hangings and plant hangers. Allow about 4 times the finished length per knotting cord; a medium wall hanging takes 100–150 m.
