Storage and Organizing for Cross Stitch

Charts with 30–60 colours call for threads kept in order by code: Hobianna wooden thread organizers hold cut skeins in their holes with the code, the DMC cardboard box stores stock floss dust-free, and Milward boxes and Buratini organizers separate small supplies. Organizing a Project

Cut each chart colour into 40–45 cm lengths, loop it into the organizer hole and write the DMC code beside it; carry the symbol key with the organizer in a zip bag. On large prayer rug projects use one organizer per 20–30 colours. Afterwards return leftover skeins with their labels to the cardboard box in code order, so the next project starts without a colour hunt.
