Fabric Glues for Sewing

Which Glue for What?

Gütermann HT2 forms a strong, flexible bond on leather, faux leather, fabric and felt, a permanent fix for bag handles, belt ends and skirt hems where stitching is difficult. PeVeA appliqué glue holds patches and appliqués before sewing without gumming the needle. Apply thinly, press the parts together and let dry 24 hours; it then washes at 40 °C. Sticky stabilizer is an alternative for fabric.
