Snap Frames for Cross Stitch

A snap frame is a square frame of PVC tubes to which the Aida is fixed with clips; there is no ring mark and the fabric is tensioned evenly in every direction. This page gathers Calin clip frames in 20×20 and 20×28 cm with 2-packs of spare clips. On large pictures and prayer rugs the unstitched fabric rolls onto the tube and you work section by section. Using Clips on Aida

Press the clip over the fabric onto the tube and turn to tension; if a clip must go over stitched crosses, slip thin felt between. Hoop covers and stands are in Hoop Accessories.
