Hobianna Wooden Needle Boxes

A wooden needle box is a small sliding or lidded box that keeps tapestry, embroidery and sewing needles from getting lost or rusty. Hobianna's own boxes are laser-cut in our Kadıköy workshop: one has a plain lid, the other a lid with a perforated stitchable area so you can personalise it with a mini motif or a name. How to Use It

Sort needles by size in the compartments so 22, 24 and 26 tapestry needles never mix. Stitch the lid with 3 strands of floss without a hoop and trim the ends inside the lid. The wood is raw and takes acrylic paint and varnish. It makes a lovely gift set with a pincushion and a needle threader.
