Wooden Hoops for Cross Stitch

A wooden hoop serves cross stitch for both stitching and display: beech rings hold the Aida gently and the finished piece is backed with felt and hung in the same hoop. Displaying in the Hoop

Centre the finished piece, tighten the outer ring, leave 3 cm of fabric at the back, gather it and cover with felt. Paint the hoop or wrap it in ribbon if you like; for magnets and ornaments see Panel Hoops.
