Macramé Books and Magazines
Macramé knots are easiest to learn when shown step by step in photos: this category carries the Diana macramé magazine (Turkish, project-based) and Macrame Super Easy (English, beginner knots and more than 20 projects). The books give wall hangings, plant hangers, keyrings, bags and curtains with cord lengths and knot diagrams. Cords are in Macramé Yarn, wooden rings and dowels in Other Tools, other titles in Knitting Magazines and Books.
Which Book for Whom?
Diana suits first projects; Macrame Super Easy is followed from its knot diagrams without any language and includes modern wall hangings. Every project needs 3–5 mm cord, a wooden dowel or ring and scissors; allow about 4 times the finished length in cord. A wall hanging takes 2–4 hours.
