Magnet and card motifs take 10–13 cm, hoop panels 15–20 cm, pictures and cushions 23–30 cm or an oval hoop. On 14 ct a 15 cm hoop gives about 70×70 stitches; cut fabric 5–8 cm larger than the hoop.
