Knitting Needle Types

This category carries DMC Rose Gold aluminium straight needles (40 cm, 2–8 mm), circular needles for knitting in the round and blankets, sets of 4–5 double-pointed needles for socks and gloves, and wooden needles. DMC Rose Gold needles are fast thanks to their slick surface and catch the stitch without dropping it; wooden needles grip the yarn and are comfortable for beginners. Size and Length

The size is the thickness in millimetres and matches the yarn label: baby knits 3–3.5 mm, summer 3.5–4.5 mm, winter 5–8 mm. Straight needles cover scarves, beanies, vests and baby sets, and 40 cm suits most work. Blankets and sweaters knitted in the round need 80–100 cm circulars that carry the weight and avoid seams.
