Stretching Cross Stitch into a Frame

Press the fabric from the back, cut it with a 3–4 cm margin beyond the inner size and stretch it onto the backing board with double-sided tape or staples, opposite sides first, corners last. The cutting-board shape suits kitchen-themed pieces, the round floral frame monograms and mini motifs. Frames can be painted and varnished.
