Gütermann Sewing Thread

Gütermann has been made in Germany since 1864 and is the standard thread of tailors worldwide. Which Fabric, Which Colour?

Polyester thread gives balanced results on every weave from cotton and wool to denim and stretch, and its elasticity stops puckering. Choose thread one shade darker than the fabric to hide the seam, or the dominant colour on prints. Use a size 70–90 machine needle or a size 7–8 hand needle. A 100 m spool covers one garment or a few small projects.
