Needle Minders and Pincushions for Embroidery

A needle minder keeps the needle from getting lost or stuck into the fabric: the magnetic minder clips to the hoop edge or fabric and the needle rests on it. How Each Minder Is Used

The magnetic minder is two parts, one in front of the fabric and one behind; needle and scissors rest on it and the fabric is never pierced. Wooden figure minders clip to the hoop edge and double as a decorative accessory in the embroidery bag; the pincushion is for pins and spare needles. The magnet does not pull the fabric, so it is safe with metallic thread and fine silk.
