How to Sew Felt

Pin the template to the felt and cut with scissors; join the pieces with blanket stitch, whip stitch or a straight machine stitch, ideally with 2–3 strands of floss and a size 7 embroidery needle. In appliqué, fix the felt motif with fabric glue and stitch the edge. Stuff toys and ornaments with fibre filling. Felt is not washed but wiped with a damp cloth; press on low heat through a cloth.
