Imported Knitting and Crochet Books

Imported titles bring current designs and techniques not found locally, and because they use international crochet and knitting symbols and abbreviations they are easy to follow. Reading a Pattern

Amigurumi patterns use 6–8 abbreviations such as sc, inc, dec, ch and sl st, explained in a table at the front. Knitting books use k, p and chart symbols. Yarn weight and hook or needle size are stated in every pattern, so pick a local yarn of the same weight.
