Felt Fabric

Felt does not fray, is used as cut and sews easily; it is the base material for felt toys, appliqué, Christmas ornaments and the backing of punch and cross stitch work. This category carries 1 mm thin felt 100 cm wide in black, white, cream, grey and bright colours by the metre or cut. How to Use Felt

Pin the template to the felt and cut with sharp scissors; join pieces with whip or knot stitch and stuff with fibre. In appliqué, fix the felt to the fabric with textile glue or embroidery stitches. Backing punch and cross stitch with felt gives a clean finish. 1 mm felt lets the needle through easily; use a safety needle for children's projects.
