Etuval Cotton Duck Fabrics

This page gathers every duck colour at Hobianna: Etuval cotton duck 180 cm wide in light blue, beige, pistachio green, powder, grey and more by the metre. Duck is a dense, medium-weight 100% cotton: it holds its shape, sews easily and its dense weave also serves as an embroidery and punch needle ground. What to Make with Duck

Sewing: bags, covers, curtains, cushions, aprons and tablecloths with a size 90–100 needle and polyester thread. Embroidery: stem stitch, satin stitch and modern hoop panels on its smooth surface. Punch: it holds pearl cotton and wool loops with the fine and medium needle. Duck shrinks slightly in the first wash: pre-wash for sewing, stretch it unwashed and drum-tight for punch. The 180 cm width is economical for one-piece curtains; a bag or cushion takes 0.5 m, as do 4–6 hoop panels.
