Eco Vita in Punch Needle

Eco Vita is the natural thread of punch needle: 100% organic wool fibres grip the fabric so loops never pull out, and the surface stays lofty and matte. Its 60 plant-dyed colours match the earthy, pastel palette of modern punch panels exactly. Needle, Fabric and Quantity

The medium punch needle (Hobianna adjustable and fixed medium needles) is ideal for Eco Vita; the fine needle works small details and the thick needle is for knitting yarn. Stretch fine monk's cloth or dense punch cloth drum-tight in a 15–20 cm frame. One 16 m skein fills about 4×4 cm; a 15 cm hoop panel takes 8–12 skeins, so buy extra background. Steam the finished panel lightly from the back and do not wash. For a cheaper, wider card, DMC Tapestry Wool also punches well.
