Eco Vita in Tapestry

Eco Vita is the organic, plant-dyed alternative to classic tapestry wool; its 60 natural tones give a warm, matte surface on country landscapes, botanical designs and modern minimal tapestries. Canvas, Needle and Quantity

One strand covers 10–12 ct printed canvas in half cross and fills 14 ct densely; it is too thin for 18 ct. Use a size 20–22 blunt tapestry needle, cut 35–40 cm lengths and pull gently, since tight wool puckers the canvas. One skein covers about 6×6 cm on 12 ct; count skeins per colour by the symbol totals. Tapestry wool (7xxx) and Eco Vita codes differ, so match by the nearest tone.
