Wooden Hangers for Handcraft

This page gathers every wooden hanger at Hobianna: the MP Studia owl hanger frame and 25×32 cm frame, the Roses series hanging frames in 21×21 and 29×29 cm and Hobianna's own Deer wooden hanger. A hanger is the lightest, most practical way to hang work: wrap the top edge around the rod, no frame or glass, and swap pieces by season. The guide is in Wooden Hangers under Cross Stitch, the Hobianna design in Deer Hanger, frames in Wooden Frames, stands in Wooden Stands.

Which Hanger for Which Work?

Slotted straight hangers hold the fabric through the slot, for cross stitch and punch panels; hanging frames stretch and staple the fabric behind for a neater display of embroidery and small tapestries; figure hangers (owl, deer) suit Christmas and themed panels. Choose a hanger 2–4 cm wider than the fabric; sizes are on the product page. Raw wood takes acrylic paint and varnish and hangs by jute or leather cord.
