How to Knit Socks

A 100 g ball is about 400 m; a pair of adult socks takes 1 ball, booties half a ball. Use 2.5–3 mm sock needles (a set of 5 or circular); with self-patterning yarn stripes and fair isle effects form on their own. Wash on a 30°C wool cycle.
