  The couching technique is based on fixing the thread laid over the printed pattern on the fabric with small vertical stitches at regular intervals. All the contours forming the pattern should be applied with this technique.

  The cross stitch technique is formed by joining X-shaped loops on loosely woven fabrics. The needle is inserted from under the fabric and brought out at 1, then inserted at 2 and brought out at 3. This continues to the end of the row, and on the return the diagonal loops are completed to achieve the X form.
