Embroidery Scissors for Cross Stitch

This page gathers sharp-point embroidery scissors for cross stitchers: Singer small coloured embroidery scissors and Hello thread snips. In cross stitch the thread end is cut at the base of the stitch; the sharp point enters the aida hole and unpicks a wrong stitch. Hello snips are for quick cutting at the hoop. All embroidery scissors are in Embroidery Scissors, tailor and fabric shears in Sewing Scissors, the branch page in Cross Stitch Scissors.

Usage Tip

The scissors cut thread only; never blunt them on paper or fabric. Cut the thread end at the base of the knot without touching the fabric; when unpicking, the sharp point lifts a single stitch. Park them on a magnetic minder at the hoop.
