Embroiderable Cards and Bookmarks

An embroiderable greeting card is heavy card with a regular grid of holes for cross stitch; a mini motif or name turns it into a personalised card, invitation, tag or bookmark. How to Stitch a Card

The holes are close to 14 ct; stitch in hand with 2 strands of floss and a size 24 blunt needle, no hoop. The mini motifs and alphabet charts in Cross Stitch Patterns fit the card size. Trim thread ends on the back and cover with a second card if you like. A card takes 30–60 minutes and can be made in batches for weddings, birthdays and Christmas.
