Gobelin: Large Printed Needlepoint Canvases

Gobelin offers large classic paintings printed on closely woven canvas in Europe. Hobianna stocks models such as 10.561 (60×75 cm), 14.866 (48×60 cm) and 14.872 (45×60 cm); shaded printing gives the finished piece an oil-painting effect. Planning Materials for a Large Canvas

A 60×75 cm Gobelin needs more than 300 skeins of DMC Tapestry Wool or six-strand Mouliné; the colour list is on the product page and skeins should come from the same dye lot. Stretch the canvas on a scroll frame or large tube hoop; a floor stand protects shoulders and neck during long sessions. At one or two hours a day a 60×75 cm canvas takes six to nine months.
