Handmade Pincushions

A pincushion is a stuffed cushion into which pins and sewing needles are stuck for keeping; needles do not rust, points stay sharp and everything is at hand. How to Use a Pincushion

In sewing pins, in embroidery needles of different sizes go into the pincushion; for a threaded needle a magnetic Needle Minder is preferred. The pumpkin pincushion sits on the sewing table and in the patchwork and cross stitch basket; the fabric cover is wiped, not washed. The accessory most often added to a gift pack.
