Embroidery Scissors for Tapestry
This page gathers sharp-point embroidery scissors for tapestry stitchers: Singer small coloured embroidery scissors and Hello thread snips. In tapestry, thick wool and 6-strand floss are cut at the base of the canvas with sharp-point scissors; snips are handy when preparing lengths. All embroidery scissors are in Embroidery Scissors, tailor and fabric shears in Sewing Scissors, the branch page in Tapestry Scissors.
Usage Tip
The scissors cut thread only; never blunt them on paper or fabric. Cut the thread end at the base of the knot without touching the canvas; when unpicking, the sharp point lifts a single stitch. Park them on a magnetic minder at the frame.
