Anchor Floss for Embroidery

This page gathers Anchor Mouliné 6-strand cotton embroidery thread in 8 m skeins for embroiderers: colourfast and no fading in the wash. In embroidery use 2–3 strands of Anchor for stem and chain stitch and 4–6 for satin stitch and filling; its mercerised gloss shows best in satin stitch. How to Use It

Cut 40–45 cm lengths, separate the strands and recombine the number needed; on DMC-keyed charts pick the nearest Anchor code from a conversion chart and do not mix the two brands in one project.
