DMC Coloris Combinations

This page lists every DMC Coloris code at Hobianna in one place: the 24 combinations of the 4500 series (4500 pastel spring, 4501 red-green meadow, 4505 blue-lilac, 4519 autumn and so on). Every skein is 8 m, 6-strand cotton and gives four different colours in turn every few centimetres along one thread; used for flowers and lettering in embroidery, alphabets and borders in cross stitch, small accents in punch needle. Which Combination for Which Work?

Pastel combinations are preferred in baby and birth samplers, red-green-yellow tones in wildflower and Christmas motifs, blue-lilac-pink ranges in lavender and sea themes, earth tones in autumn and leaf designs.
