Single-strand twisted DMC Pearl Cotton No 5, 8 and 12; wool in DMC Wool Skeins and organic Eco Vita; glossy Satin, colour-changing Coloris, Color Variations and Variegated; metallics Light Effects, Etoile, Diamant and pearl metallic skeins; matte Floche and Broder Special; lace threads Babylo, Cordonnet and Special Dentelles.

Which Thread for Which Work?

Cross stitch: 2 strands of floss on 14 ct, or pearl cotton No 8; Satin and Etoile for glossy and sparkling accents. Embroidery: 1–6 strands by stitch, pearl cotton No 5 for textured satin stitch, Eco Vita and tapestry wool for wool embroidery, Floche and Broder Special for whitework. Tapestry: wool, or floss on fine canvas. Punch: pearl cotton and wool. Colour codes are shared across DMC ranges, so search the code on your chart and add it to the basket.
