DMC Diamant Colours

This page lists every DMC Diamant metallic thread colour at Hobianna in one place: dark and light gold (D3852, D3821), silver (D168), copper (D301), black, white, silver-black and pastel metallic tones. Diamant is a durable single-strand, non-divisible metallic thread on a 35 m spool; used for outlines, lettering, goldwork and cross stitch accents. Which Colour for Which Work?

D3852 dark gold is preferred in Ottoman and classic motifs, D3821 light gold in modern lettering and stars, D168 silver in snowflakes and winter themes, D301 copper in autumn and vintage work, D140 silver-black in night skies and gothic designs. Use a single strand on 16–18 ct aida, two on 14 ct; in embroidery stem stitch, back stitch and couching are the most efficient methods.
